mary's fish camp

went to mary's fish camp the other night. i wish there was something like it, in my neighborhood. we had:

Salt Crusted Shrimp with Celery Root Remoulade - the only problem i had was that there were only three shrimpies. it was salty and crunchy, but the shrimp was perfectly cooked and splendid underneath its shell.
Braised Portuguese Octopus with Oyster Mushrooms and Garlic Oil  - this dish was a brothy delight. i bit into an entire roasted piece of garlic, which rocked.
Grilled Whole Bronzino with Grilled Vegetables - the bronzino was perfectly moist and flaky. its cavity was filled with chopped oregano, garlic and other herbs.
Faroe Island Steelhead Trout with Roasted Cauliflower Risotto + Gremolata - the skin was crispy and the fish was super flavorful. the risotto....oh the risotto! it was buttery and what dreams are made of.
Roasted Butternut Squash

the entire meal was absurdly delicious and although we over-ordered (per usual), we ate pretty much everything anyway.
